Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TWO ENDS DI FERRANTE FRANCESCO (“TWO ENDS”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with Every News Anime, our anime news channel on Threads (@every.news.anime), and with SocialNews, the application we use to run that channel through the Threads API by Meta.

01Who we are

The data controller is:

TWO ENDS DI FERRANTE FRANCESCO
Via Francesco Ribezzo 2/D, 73100 Lecce (LE), Italy

02What SocialNews is

SocialNews is an internal tool. It manages one Threads profile only: our own account @every.news.anime. Nobody else can sign in to it, and it does not ask third parties to connect their Threads, Instagram or Facebook accounts. Through the Threads API it:

  • publishes anime news posts, and replies under them, on our account;
  • reads the replies that people leave under our posts, so that we can answer them;
  • reads recent public posts from a short list of public accounts about anime (for example streaming services, studios and news outlets), so that we can join those conversations with relevant replies;
  • reads statistics about our own account and posts (views, likes, replies, reposts, follower count, and aggregated audience data such as countries and age ranges).

A person on our team reviews and approves every post and every reply before it is published. Nothing is published automatically on anyone else’s behalf.

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, private messages, location data, or any special category of data. SocialNews uses no cookies or tracking. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics; to display fonts and styles it loads files from Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Tailwind CSS, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them.

04Purposes and legal basis

  • Running our channel: publishing news and answering the people who reply to us.
  • Taking part in public conversations about anime with replies that add useful information.
  • Measuring how our posts perform, to improve our content.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and growing a public news channel and in talking with our audience (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only handle content that is already public on Threads, and only as far as these purposes need. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on anyone.

05Who receives the data

We use these service providers, under their data processing terms:

  • Meta Platforms (Threads API): the platform where the content lives.
  • n8n GmbH (Germany): runs our automation workflows.
  • Supabase (database hosted in the EU, Frankfurt region): stores the data described in section 03.
  • Anthropic (United States): its Claude AI model drafts our posts and suggested replies. For a reply, it receives the text of the post or reply we are answering. Every draft is reviewed by a person before it is published.
  • Telegram: delivers new replies and draft replies to the private chat our team uses to review them.

Some of these providers are located, or may process data, outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the transfer relies on the safeguards the providers offer, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

06How long we keep it

  • Text and usernames of replies to our posts, and of public posts we considered replying to, including the copies in our internal review chat: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • IDs and status of those items (for example “answered”), without text or username: as long as they are needed for our statistics.
  • Aggregated statistics: indefinitely. They do not identify anyone.

Content stays on Threads according to Threads’ own rules. Deleting a reply on Threads removes it there; our copy is deleted at the latest at the end of the period above, or earlier on request (see section 07).

07Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To delete data we hold about you, follow the steps on our data deletion page, or write to contact@twoends.dev. We answer within 30 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

08Children

Every News Anime is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data. Threads itself requires users to be at least 13.

09Security

Access to SocialNews and to the data is limited to our team. Credentials are kept out of our code and stored only in access-restricted systems, and connections between our services are encrypted.

10Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced on our Threads profile.
